Transfer of Training Measurement and Improvement Tool
The purpose of this tool is to provide training organizations with a simple, user-friendly means for systematically measuring and improving employee transfer of training from the learning setting to the job.  In addition to providing a method for improving training, a significant side benefit of the Transfer of Training Measurement and Improvement Tool is the generation of data needed to market the value of training.
 

The Transfer of Training Measurement and Improvement Tool introduces a significant element to the transfer of training equation: task importance.  An inherent weakness of many other transfer of training evaluation models is the lack of data and whether or not the training is worth transferring.  Is value being added to the organization?  Is proper task performance critical to individual and organizational success, or is it a non-critical, nice-to-know?  The Transfer of Training Measurement and Improvement Tool blends transfer of training evaluation and needs analysis methodologies to offer insight into the value added by training.

These instruments, in their original format, were developed for Westinghouse under contract to the DOE/CAO, and shared through the DOE/CAO technology transfer program. They are available to U.S. businesses, educational institutions, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and individual citizens at no-cost,  and can be used for  commercial, internal, or educational purposes.  TrainersDirect has taken the time to modify the instruments so that all government specific references have been replaced with generic text. All materials are relevant to any organization and will require no re-work on your part. As an example, in instances where the word Westinghouse is used we have replaced it with "Company," or "Organization." TrainersDirect indemnifies the U.S. Government and the contractor for all damages, costs, and expenses, including attorney fees, arising from the utilization of this instrument.
