About Denise Brown 

Denise Brown, PMP, Founder and President of Action Training International, Inc. excels in using her extensive corporate experience in culturally diverse management environments around the world to provide clients with a strong practical approach for defining and delivering results-oriented seminars. ATI, Inc. was founded in 1997 as a privately held corporation headquartered in Chesapeake, Virginia.

With credentials of PMP and an active member of the Project Management Institute, (PMI), Denise utilizes her experience of managing projects with budgets in the multimillion dollar range to successfully plan projects of varying complexity in order to meet clients’ needs. As a native of Dallas, Texas, Denise has acquired 15 years’ practical experience utilizing her communication, organizational and leadership qualities garnered from full-time employers such as Lockheed Martin IMS, Cambridge Business Solutions, Ogden Environmental, Frito-Lay World Headquarters and Jones Lang Wootton, U.S.A.

Denise provides consulting and training to government entities such as GAO (General Accounting Office), DLIS (Defense Logistics Information Systems) and CSB(Chemical Safety Board). Long-term clients include RAND Corporation Headquarters and DC offices, General Dynamics-Virginia, and Infineon Technologies.
In order to provide realistic application of theory to software development, Denise also provides training on the integration of various software packages in conjunction with project management methodologies and scheduling procedures.

Denise has lived and worked around the globe in Guatemala, Thailand and Hawaii and
speaks English and Spanish. Her international experience along with her knowledge and skills in project quality control processes, resource management, customer-interface and negotiation, along with a unique understanding of interdepartmental communication are essential factors in the prolific demand for her services.
