Kurt Weiss
Dr. Kurt K. Weiss
is a managing partner and founder of Executive Management Consulting,
Inc. a Knoxville, Tennessee based research and consulting firm
specializing in organizational and management development. With more
than 20 years experience as an organizational/management and training
consultant, he has worked with thousands of individuals from over 500
major organizations to develop their personal and professional
effectiveness in management, leadership, teams, communication, and
interpersonal skills.

works as a facilitator with individuals, groups, and organizations to
effectively cope with growth and change. One of his specialties is
executive coaching and development and he has worked with CEO’s,
presidents, and senior vice-presidents and their teams. He
has worked in the U.S. with such major organizations as Schlumberger,
Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Lucent Technologies, NCR, Saturn Car
Corporation, IBM, BellSouth, Medtronics, and the Tennessee Valley
Authority. Internationally, Dr. Weiss has offered numerous workshops and
consulted with many organizations in Europe, Africa, the Middle East,
Canada, and South America. Some of his international clients include:
Schlumberger, Management Centre Europe, the Middle East Management
Centre, Kuwait Petroleum Companies, Gulf Bank of Kuwait, Saudi Methanol
in Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabian Texaco in Kuwait, Abu Dhabi Marine
Operating Company in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and the American
Management Association in Argentina. He
is the primary author of Transformative Mapping, an assessment tool,
which helps individuals, teams, and organizations to identify current
workplace performance levels and then, assists them in creating ways to
perform more effectively. He is currently writing a book on storytelling
as a management and organizational development tool Dr.
Weiss and his wife Anna make their home in Knoxville, Tennessee. He
received his doctorate in individual and organizational development from
Vanderbilt University. He is an adjunct faculty member at the University
of Tennessee for the last eight years teaching individual and
organizational development.
